Lauren Taylor is an American News Anchor working for WOWT-TV since joining the station in September 2018. She anchors the 4 pm, 5 pm, 6:30 pm, and 10 pm newscasts on WOWT 6 News. Previously, she was in Roanoke, Virginia, working for a Fox-affiliated TV station, WFXR-TV, as the weekend reporter, as well as the weekend anchor. There reported everything from the Mountain Valley Pipeline Project to the Charlottesville violence to opioid addiction in the Southwest, then to localities removing Confederate symbols and schools.

Taylor has covered national stories, such as the 2016 Northeast Blizzard, as well as the Dauphin Island Regatta tragedy. She enjoys covering topics that benefit people and the places in which they live.
