Jiggetts also spent some time working for Channel One News which is based in L.A. and WLVI, the CW affiliate based in Boston. She interned for WFLD-TV and CLTV while she was still in school.

She has also managed to win several awards, for instance, in 2011 she received a national and regional Emmy for her assistance in the station’s coverage of the Burr Oak Cemetery Scandal. The talented lady has also received quite a number of local Emmys. She managed to receive the Irv Kupcinet Media Award at the 41st Annual Ed Kelly Foundation Gala in 2015.
