Freeman is an anchor/reporter who joined the station in 2006 serving as the station’s 5 a.m. as well as 11 a.m. presenter on weekdays. Her professional career started in Houston, Texas serving as an editor for the KXXV stations while still studying in Waco. She left then left the station so that she could join KWTX and serve as the station’s reporter.
After working for the station for a while, she moved and joined KCEN still based in Waco. While there, her main role at the station was to present the morning program. After a while, Lauren again relocated from Houston to Jacksonville, Florida. While in Florida, she secured a job at WJXT-TV Channel 4 News, the KPRC’s sister channel as a reporter and a fill-in anchor.
Freeman then moved to WFTC-TV in Minneapolis as their anchor and reporter. In 2006 Lauren left the station so that she could go and join KPRC2News as their anchor. There, she presented the news at 5 pm every weekday. She has been working in different channels in different areas, Lauren settled into her career after she went back to Texas, her home town and joined KPRC TV.
