Kudlow has worked as an Assistant to the Director of the National Economic Council and the President of Economic Policy, under Donald Trump.

Also, he has served as a senior contributor on CNBC where he was responsible for hosting “The Kudlow Report,” a post-market analysis show. Before that, Kudlow worked for Bear Sterns as a senior managing director and chief economist. For 4 years (1981-1985), he served as an associate director for planning and economics at the Office of Management and Budget during the administration of Ronald Reagan.

Kudlow started his journalism career at the New York Federal Reserve where he worked as a junior financial analyst.
