Lah was the 1st United States broadcast journalist to go inside the meltdown on the 1 year anniversary of the disaster.

She has conducted interviews with multiple Japanese prime ministers and leaders from Pakistan and China. Lah has worked as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource based in Washington DC. In that capacity, she provided live coverage of breaking news events from the country’s capital for approximately 800 CNN Newsource partner stations.
