Jordan is an anchor as well as a reporter who co-anchors THE News at Daybreak and co-hosts Morning Break with Cyreia Sandlin and Tim Guidera. He grew up in Thomasville, Georgia, and studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of Georgia. He also has a history degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After his graduation, he started off by working for KDRV in Medford, Oregon where he served as a reporter and sports anchor.
Later on, he moved on to work for WINK in Fort Myers, Florida, he began anchoring the weekend morning show, which resulted in a major scheduling shift. Additionally, he moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in October 2012, from the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic. Furthermore, he was the host of WCSC’s top-rated morning newscast for eight years, winning an Emmy for Best Morning Newscast in 2021.
Ever since he started his career in journalism, he has managed to enclose major story events that hit the headlines all across America. For instance, he enclosed the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and wildfires out west. He also covered the tragic Charleston church shooting and reported from the path of storms during several hurricane seasons. His love and passion for reporting have always been discovering “Good News” about the people in his community.
