Bokamper serves as a sports analyst, anchor, and reporter at WFOR CBS Miami. Before joining WFOR|CBS Miami, he was a well-known football player as a linebacker and defensive end for Miami Dolphins. He began playing for Miami Dolphins in 1976 and left in 1985. In 1980 and 1981, he played in two Pro Bowls and later on as a starting defensive end for the 1982 Super Bowls XVII and XIX in 1984. He received the 1981 Outstanding Linebacker Award.

He later retired and started working as a sports anchor, reporter, and host. From 1992 to 1996, he worked at WIOD where he served as the host of “Sports Talk 610.” In addition to this role at WIOD, he also served as the host of the Dolphin’s post-game and s pre-game shows. From 1993 to 1996, he worked at Channel 33 where he served as a football analyst for “Sunday Night Sports Rap.” In 1996, he began working at 560 WQAMwhere he served as the host of “Sports Talk.”
Bokamper is also active when it comes to helping out in his community. For instance, he works alongside non-profit organizations and foundations including the Cystic Fibrosis Association, the American Cancer Association, Special Olympics, and the United Way. In addition to that, he is also the Miami Dolphins Alumni association and the Miami Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association. He went to San Jose State University where he graduated in 1976.

In 2008, Bokamper alongside his three partners, Noel Cullen, Damon DeSantis, and P.J. Kavanagh founded PDKN Restaurant Group. Bok amper’s friend and partner Kavanagh approached Kim with the idea of opening up a restaurant and furthering their creativity. The two later partnered with Damon DeSantis and Noel Cullen and opened the first Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill in 2008 based in Plantation, Florida.
The team has since grown and has different restaurants in Florida ( Naples, (Estero, Plantation and Fort Lauderdale, and Miramar). In addition to that, PDKN Restaurant Group also operates and owns a New Orleans-inspired restaurant on Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard called “The Balcony.” In 2019, PDKN Restaurant Group founded another restaurant called “Bo’s Beach” which features fresh seafood and exotic ocean views on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
