Kugler works primarily in radio broadcasting and as an NFL play-by-play announcer at FOX Sports. Westwood One employs Kugler as its lead college basketball voice as well as one of its Sunday NFL voices, and the Big Ten Network employs him as a play-by-play man for college football and basketball. Kugler was based in Omaha, Nebraska, where he anchored a regular sports talk show on KOZN until 2012 when he left to concentrate on other responsibilities.
