Albert called his 425th network NFL broadcast in Week 17 of the 2019 NFL season, and he has called at least three games involving each NFL team during his career, totaling more than 60 matches with some. Albert’s 425 NFL games called as of the 2020 season rank him eighth all-time among play-by-play broadcasters and 14th among all NFL broadcasters. Albert ranks 10th among MLB play-by-play announcers with 397 network TV games called, and he ranks seventh in NHL with 310 network TV games called.
Albert was named the blow-by-blow announcer for FOX Sports’ Premier Boxing Champions coverage in 2018, tasked with calling some of the world’s most high-profile championship fights on FOX and FOX Sports PBC Pay-Per-View shows. The two-time Sports Emmy Award nominee in the play-by-play category (2015 and 2019) previously worked with analyst Rondé Barber from 2017 to 2019 and Daryl “Moose” Johnston from 2007 to 2016, calling five NFC Divisional playoff games as well as the 2008 Pro Bowl with Johnston and sideline analyst Tony Siragusa.

Since 2012, Albert has been announcing for the NHL on NBC. In 2016, he provided commentary for NBCSN’s coverage of the Rio Olympics. On NBC, he has also called Premier Boxing Champions events, and on Westwood One Radio, he has called NFL games. He was the announcer for FS1’s coverage of the 2019 American League Division Series, the 2018 National League Division Series, the 2016 NLDS, the 2015 ALDS, and the 2001 NLDS. Albert has called NFL Europe games on FOX and worked from 1992 to 1995 for Home Team Sports, a regional sports cable carrier in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area.
