Chalmers serves at 9NEWS as a weekend morning and midday meteorologist. Before joining 9NEWS, she served at KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon as a Meteorologist and Reporter. She joined KGW in the year 2003 and left in the year 2022. She previously served as an anchor and reporter for KSFY in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and KGWC in Casper, Wyoming. Keely earned her B.A. in English and was an All-American lacrosse player at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
