While still in college during her senior year, she interned at WCCO and she is proud to be back telling stories in her home state. Currently, she contributes to the “Best Of Minnesota” series, highlighting the people and places that make Minnesota great.
In addition, she keeps busy with charity work, event hosting, and public speaking. Prior to transitioning to a journalism career, she was a vocalist. She has performed at numerous sporting events, including the Pantages Theatre, as well as at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Still, to date, she sings The Star-Spangled Banner at a gig around town.
