Kutcher has called everything from high school football and basketball to the BIG EAST Basketball Tournament during his tenure at the network. For three years, he was also one of the leading voices for ESPN’s college baseball coverage, broadcasting the Regionals and Super Regionals as well as the softball Super Regionals.
He has called the NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championships and was the voice of the Under Armour High School All-America Football Game for three years. Kutcher previously served as a play-by-play announcer and studio host for Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, and NCAA Productions. He was also a frequent contributor to MLB.com, where he anchored the nightly highlight show “Daily Rewind.”
During the 2008 postseason, he also acted as the primary anchor for MLB.com’s “Post Season Live” broadcast. Kutcher hosted a regular nationally syndicated Olympic recap show for Westwood One Radio in August 2008. Until joining CSTV in 2006, the versatile announcer spent three years covering minor league baseball at the Double-A and Triple-A levels. In 2006, he also called the World Softball Championships for the International Softball Federation from Beijing, China.
From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a freelance statistician for FOX Sports, serving as a special assistant to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver during the playoffs and World Series, and he also broadcasted Minor League Soccer for the Portland Timbers. He was the Sports Director of WTBU, a student-run radio station, and the voice of the women’s basketball team for two years. He also hosted two weekly sports talk shows. At the age of 12, he made his first television appearance as a contestant on “Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?” Kutcher grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, and now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
