Bradford is a proud alumnus of Central Michigan University, where he earned his bachelor of meteorology degree in May of 2019. During his stint at the university, he served as President of the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Also, he served for the Emmy Award-winning News Central 34 weather crew as the lead forecaster for 3 years. In his junior years, he worked for WNEM TV5, a dual CBS/MyNetworkTV-affiliated television station in Saginaw, Michigan, as a part-time weather forecaster. He was voted the President of the university’s American Meteorological Society Student Chapter.
Bradford was awarded First Place by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in March of 2018 for his outstanding work on a student news and weather piece about the Mid-Michigan climate.
