She went to U.C. Davis where she attained her degree in Communications and was also honored with the Kelly Broadcasting Scholarship during her senior year. When it comes to her profession, Goodrich serves as the news anchor of the weekday 6 pm and 7 pm news at KPIX5. Over the years with the station, she has served in several roles including reporting and anchoring. She started off her journalism career as an anchor and reporter at different stations in Chico, Redding, and Sacramento television.
Goodrich has also managed to enclose several stories ever since she started her journalism career. Some of those earned her awards including Emmy Nominations for enclosing the capture of fugitive James Nivette in France as well as the Bay Bridge shooting incident. She received the APTRA in 2004 for enclosing the Oakland Super Bowl Riots.
The Women of Radio and Television Association named Juliette Reporter of the Year in 2005. She was honored with an Emmy Award in 2006 for Best Anchor. In 2007, she received another Emmy Award for Best Newscast for the 5 pm news on KPIX 5. The following year (2008), she won an Emmy Award for Best Anchor and another Emmy in 2009 and 2014.
Goodrich is also the writer of a children’s book called “The Little Light Shines Bright.” Furthermore, she is also very active when it comes to helping out in her community and is part of The Northern California Special Olympics, The Alisa Ann Ruch Annual Burn Relay, and the American Red Cross.
