Durda serves as a meteorologist at WPLG Local 10 News based in Miami, Florida. She began her TV career working at the ABC affiliate, KXTV where she served as a traffic and weather anchor from 2002 to 2005. She, later on, started working at the CBS affiliate, KPGHO based in Phoenix, Arizona where she served as a traffic anchor and meteorologist. During her tenure at KPGHO, she enclosed several extreme weather events including haboobs and monsoons.
In October 2007, she joined WSVN Channel 7 where she served as a meteorologist till her departure in October 2012. In 2007, she joined Mississippi State University where she attained a Bachelor of Applied Science, Broadcast Meteorology in 2009. She is also the owner of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) seal of approval. Furthermore, she is also an active member of the National Weather Association (NWA) since 2006.
Durda is also very active when it comes to helping her community and is a member of the Boys and Girls Club. In 2011, she was tagged “Best Meteorologist in South Florida.” She is also a member of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Breast Cancer Awareness.
