His interest in meteorology began at a very young age. He states that thunderstorms scared him when he was little and always wanted to know what was going on when he frantically ran into his parents’ room. Back in the year 193, the blizzard that occurred helped to spark his interest in the weather. Later on, when he was about five years old, he remembers his dad opening the garage door to almost two feet of snow.
Back in the month of March 2015, he made a move to Roanoke, Virginia where he was covering the EF-3 tornadoes and deadly flooding brought on by Hurricanes Florence and Michael. Asides from this, he states that he is happy to say that the weather is not only his job but a hobby as well.
Away from work, he enjoys checking up on his favorite sports teams. Asides from this, he is a huge Penguin, Steelers, Nittany Lions, and Pirates fan. Aside from this, he enjoys keeping in touch with his family back home in Pittsburgh.
