Juan Manuel Quiñones is an American award-winning journalist and correspondent working for ABC News serving as a host. He serves as the host of What Would You Do? which is aired on ABC News. He joined the station in 1982.

Quiñones went to Brackenridge High School in San Antonio where he was chosen to be part of the federal anti-poverty program, Upward Bound. The program prepared high school students for college. Later on, he joined St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas where he attained his Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication. When he was still an undergraduate at St. Mary’s University, he was part of the Sigma Beta-Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Quiñones is a host and correspondent who started his journalism career in Radio. His first radio station to work for was KTRH in Houston, Texas where he served as a radio news editor from 1975 to 1978. He then changed gears and moved to KPRC-TV his first TV job and served as an anchor and reporter. After working for the station for some years, he left for WBBM-TV in Chicago where he served as a reporter. Soon after, he joined ABC News, Miami, and started off by serving as a general assignment correspondent. He then switched roles and started co-anchoring the ABC News program, Primetime. Today, he reports for so many ABC News programs including ABC World News Tonight, Nightline as well as Good Morning America.
Quiñones has also managed to enclose quite a number of religious sects in Northern Arizona which forces its young female members to accept polygamous marriages. He has also made reports on how clinics performed unnecessary surgical procedures as part of a major nationwide insurance scam. He was also among a group of would-be Mexican immigrants who attempted to cross into the U.S. via the treacherous route known as ‘The Devil’s Highway.’ He also went to Israel to receive his CINE Award-winning report about suicide bombers.
