John Fuller is an American Emmy Award-winning Meteorologist working for FOX 2 – KTVI and KPLR in St. Louis, Missouri as a chief meteorologist. He joined KTVI and KPLR in October 2008.
John Fuller Career and Education
Fuller is a proud graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. When it comes to his profession, Fuller serves at FOX 2 News as a Chief Meteorologist. His weather forecasts appear at 4 and 7 PM ET. Also, he serves as a host of Exercise Segment during the 11 a.m. newscasts.
Fuller first came to St. Louis in June 1983, when he worked for KSDK-TV News Channel 5 as a Chief Meteorologist for over 2 and a half decades. Also, while there, he worked for KEZK 102.5 FM and KFUO Classic 99.1 FM, as a Chief Meteorologist for 4 years 9 months, and 5 years, respectively. Over the years in St. Louis, he has covered multiple weather events including Spring 2013 tornadoes and the 2012 drought.
Fuller got his 1st job in his field as an Air Pollution Meteorologist, where he worked with the Air Quality Division, at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. From there, he went to work as a weekend weathercaster for WJIM TV 6 in Lansing, Michigan. After that, Fuller now joined KSDK in St.Louis. While at KSDK, he was recognized with the Seal of Approval of the AMS – American Meteorological Society. Also, for Best Weathercaster at KDSK, he earned a local Emmy Award.
Besides working as a meteorologist, Fuller has also worked as an Adjunct Meteorology Professor at the University College of Washington for one and a half years (December 2008 – May 2010). For over a decade, Fuller worked as an Adjunct Meteorology Professor at St. Louis Community College-Wildwood, Missouri.
