John Clark Career
Clark co-anchors the ABC11 Eyewitness News morning newscast, weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., as well as co-anchor of Eyewitness News at Noon. Additionally, he also reports periodically for ABC11’s evening newscasts and participates in special broadcasts and projects.
He had also worked for other stations prior to joining ABC11. For instance, he previously worked for WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee where he served as an anchor/reporter. Prior to WKRN-TV, he previously worked for WECT-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he served as a reporter as well as an anchor. He had also previously spent some time working for WFNC-AM in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Clark began his journalism career in 1981 and ever since has managed to enclose events and stories that made it to the headlines. Some of the things he enclosed include celebrity interviews, weather emergencies, political races, and consumer issues, just to mention a few. This was after he graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
