Jerrold Nadler is an American attorney and politician who serves as the U.S. Representative from New York’s 10th congressional district. As of 2019, he is in the 14th term in Congress, he has served since 1992. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
The district numbered the 17th District from 1992 to 1993 and the 8th District from 1993 to 2013, involving the west side of Manhattan from the Upper West Side down to Battery Park, including the World Trade Center.
It also involves the Manhattan neighborhoods of Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, and Greenwich Village, as well as parts of Brooklyn such as Coney Island, Bensonhurst, Borough Park, and Bay Ridge. It includes many of New York City’s most popular tourist attractions, including the Statue of Liberty, the New York Stock Exchange, Brooklyn Bridge, and Central Park.
