Jeff Russo is the 5 and 6 p.m. anchor at WKBW TV. On joining the station, he served as a sports anchor/reporter and was later on given a raise to Sports Director in December 2007. In 2015, he transitioned from sports to news anchoring and reporting. Prior to joining WKBW-TV, he worked at NTV where he served as a sports director from 2001 to 2003. In 1993, he joined the State University of New York at Fredonia where he attained his Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 1997.
Russo has also won several awards including the Associated Press award for “Top Sportscast” in New York. He has also won six Nebraska Associated Press Awards and so much more. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
