She can also be found on the field in all of New Hampshire’s famous weather. She’s been through nor’easters, tornadoes, floods, blizzards, and a few earthquakes. She was dispatched to Florida to assist WMUR’s sister station to cover the hurricane in 2004.
Mackin shows her passion for weather such that meteorologists have dubbed her an “honorary member of the Storm Watch 9 team.” However, she simply wants to be out there telling the tale to New Hampshire, so she will the forecasting to the professionals.
