Prior to the station, he worked for FOX Carolina serving as a Reporter/MMJ and fill-in Anchor for 3 years (January 2019 to October 2022). He worked for WTOC-TV based in Savannah, Georgia where he served as a Reporter/Digital Anchor for 2 years. Previously, he worked for Sinclair Broadcast Group serving as a Reporter/Anchor/Producer in Albany, Georgia Area for one year.
From August 2013 to December 2013 he worked for WVTM-TV as a Newsroom Intern in Birmingham, Alabama. While he was working at WVTM-TV, he was a member of Vimeo, the home quality videos, and the people who love them. He has also won an Emmy alongside team members at previous stations and has been nominated three times, so far.
As for his education, he attended Wenonah High School in 2006. He later joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2013. Robertson stated that he looking forward to connecting with this community because it’s home,” he explained. He also said that loved Birmingham and he would come back to tell the stories of the people here is a dream come true.
