Dean serves as the senior meteorologist and host of FOX & Friends airing on weekdays 6-9 AM/ET at FOX News Channel. Furthermore, she also serves as a weather contributor at FOX Weather Service, and FOX News Media. During her tenure at FOX Media, she has managed to enclose a ton of stories including Hurricanes Irma, Harvey, Igorm Katrina, Irene, and Earl. In 2021, she enclosed the destructive and deadly Hurricane Ida.
Before joining FOX News Channel, Dean worked at WFAN-AM New York where she served as the morning entertainment and news reporter. She also made some appearances on MSNBC as an entertainment reporter and news editor. She had previously worked for CBS 2 New York where she served as a weekend on-air traffic reporter. From 1998 to 2001, she worked as the host of different radio programs in Houston, Texas including KODA-FM, Metro Networks, KLDE-FM, and KKBQ-FM. In 1997, she spent some time working at CBOT Television serving as an on-camera weather host.
Dean started her journalism career working at CHEZ-FM based in Ottawa, Canada where she served as a reporter, morning show co-host, and DJ. She also worked at the New RO where she served as the morning news anchor for Breakfast. She also worked at CFRA and KOOL-FM serving as the host of The Broad Perspective and anchor. She went to Algonquin College where she studied Radio & Television Broadcasting and graduated. In 2009, she was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval and is also an active member of the American Meteorological Society.
