Hudson works for KOIN 6 News serving the team as a Part-time Sports Anchor/Reporter. The basketball fanatic and overall sports nut was raised in the Pacific Northwest and has been calling Portland her home for over a decade. As for her education, she attended Gonzaga University where she studied between 2005 and 2009. There, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism/Studies.
Hudson has grown to love Oregon’s incredible passion for sports which was while covering the Beavers, The Trail Blazers, the Ducks, Thorns, and Timbers( among others) for the past ten years working for NBC Sports Northwest. She has her family’s rooted fandom of the Seattle SuperSonics, Seattle Mariners, and the Seattle Seahawks. She knows all too well about success and heartache at times.
Among her most fond memories in elementary school was meeting Sonics’ big man Vin Baker at the Sea-Tac Airport. Aside from this, he still has the autographed Sonics Starter coat that Baker graciously signed. Later on, her love for basketball blossomed when she was a student at Gonzaga University. Aside from this, she states that she never missed a Gonzaga Men’s Basketball game in The Kennel and still continues to root for her beloved Zags.
Previously, she was also serving NBC Sports Northwest in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area as a Reporter. There, she worked between September 2018 and January 2022. She began her journalism career working for Comcast SportsNet NW where she was serving the team as a Host/Reporter. There, she worked between February 2012 and January 2022.
Hudson states that if anyone is looking to play in a pickup volleyball game, she is ready to go. Hudson carries a portable volleyball net in the trunk of her car at all times. She finished off by stating that she welcomes all challengers.
