He is an Army brat who, despite living in Alaska, Hawai’i, Korea, Japan, and D.C., has somehow managed to spend more than half his life in Texas. Living in all of those places sparked in him a curiosity about the world, so he found a job that pays you to be curious.

Harris serves at WFAA as a multi-skilled journalist. He specializes in digital content creation. WFAA is the first TV station Harris ever worked at. He got his start in North Texas at Texas Christian University, where he was heavily involved with the Daily Skiff, and later, TCU 360, becoming the editor of the site twice.
From there he went to the Wise County Messenger in Decatur, the Victoria Advocate in Victoria, and the Austin American-Statesman in Austin. Harris has covered everything from high school football to city council meetings to pop culture reviews to Austin City Limits and country music shows. He is excited to continue to hone his video chops and learn more about the broadcast side of the news industry!
When he is not working, you can find him covering a country music show, browsing a museum, watching a movie, exploring a hiking trail, or aimlessly wandering through a bookstore/record store/comic book shop.
