Jacob Bradford Career
Bradford serves at WGNO as a news anchor/reporter on every weekend on ABC26. He and his family moved to West Texas after Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in 2005. He graduated from high school and moved on to South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, to obtain an associate’s degree.
From there, he made another move to West Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University in Canyon. There he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electronic media. While in Texas, he served at KRBC in Abilene, where he reported and anchored the news on weekends for two years.
He subsequently went to work for KSLA in Shreveport, where he worked as a late-night anchor/reporter before becoming an early-morning anchor/reporter. Bradford felt it was time to return home after two years in North Louisiana. He accepted a producer position in April 2017. Bradford’s coverage in “Then & Now”, covered the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. From that day, he has progressed from behind-the-scenes production to coming back in front of the camera.
