Faulkner serves as the host of The Faulkner Focus every weekday, 11 AM-12 PM/ET, and is the co-anchor of Outnumbered every weekday, 12-1 PM/ET. She began her journalism career working at LA Weekly where she served as a freelance business writer contributor. She later on joined KCOP-TV based in Los Angeles where she interned and did small tasks at the station. Her next stop was at WNCT-TV based in Greenville, North Carolina where she served as an anchor and reporter.

In 1992, she joined WDAF-TV based in Kansas where she served as an evening anchor till her departure in 2000. During her tenure at WDAF-TV, she was stalked and harassed by a former acquaintance. After working at WDAF-TV, she moved on to work at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis–Saint Paul where she worked as the evening anchor till leaving in July 2004.
In 2005, she joined FOX News and started off by serving as a correspondent for A Current Affair. She later on started serving as the anchor of Fox Report Weekend from 2011 to 2017. She was also a substitute anchor for Martha MacCallum’s The Story and for Shepard Smith, “Shepard Smith Reporting.” In addition to that, she also made several appearances on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld before Gutfeld left the show. Faulkner started co-hosting “Outnumbered” in April 2014 and switched to anchoring Outnumbered Overtime in 2017.
Faulkner began her very own show in 2021 called The Faulkner Focus. During her tenure at FOX, she interviewed President Donald Trump after the murder of George Floyd. She has also won several awards and honors including six Emmy Awards. She also won the National Headliner Award for enclosing Sen. Paul Wellstone’s fatal plane crash in 2003. She went to The University of California where she attained her B.A. in Mass Communications.
