His favorite stories to find are those that are relevant to both sports and non-sports fans, such as those about the resurgence of the popular Native American sport of Stickball and interviews with two of Oklahoma’s first black men to play high school football.
Harold is involved in the community, volunteering with the Rotary Club, Special Olympics, and the Wayman Tisdale Foundation, and he hopes to do so in the Kansas City area as well. The Tulsa Press Club named him Tulsa’s best sports anchor in 2018.
