Guy Junker is an American Retired Anchor/Reporter who worked for WTAE News 4 serving the station as a Weekend Sports Anchor and Weekday Sports Reporter. He worked with the station between August 1984 and April 2022.

During his time at WTAE, he was a national anchor for SNN in Washington, D.C. Asides from this, he also hosted pre and postgame shows on the Steelers radio network for more than a decade and also co-hosted Pirates and Penguins pre and postgame shows for 13 years on Fox Sports.
Being the host of the “Penn State Football Story” for about 23 years, he won about eight Emmy Awards for Best Sports Series. Back in the year 2001, the NFL/NFF Coaching Academy presented him with the Chris Schenkel Award.
Asides from this, he has been proud to work with many charities and serves as the chairman of the Homestead Lion’s annual celebrity golf tournament. He is also the co-chair of the annual Violet Rippy 5k/walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Junker had been serving WTAE News as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Weekday Sports Reporter for Pittsburgh Action News 4. He re-joined the station back in the year 2006 after about a 6-year session with the station between 1984 and 1990.
He, then retired from his journalism career at the end of April 2022 having worked as a journalist for more than 40 years. Prior to retiring, he covered the Pirates’ home opener game and made his final assignment with the NFL Draft between April 28th and April 30th.
