Ginger Gadsden is an American Anchor/Reporter working for WKMG News serving the station as an Evening Co-anchor for the 4, 5:30, and 7 PM News. The WKMG News at 7 PM is Central Florida’s only 7 PM Newscast. She joined the station in the month of June 2014.
Ginger Gadsden Career
Gadsden works for News 6 where she serves the station as an Evening Anchor. Her television began shortly after her college theater professor told her that she had a unique presence that capture the attention of other students in the classroom.

Gadsden advised her to pursue a career in journalism and helped her secure an internship at WIS the local NBC television station in Columbia, South Carolina. When she walked into the newsroom, she fell in love with the energy of live, local news. Later on, after her internship, her skills landed her a job at FOX 59 News in Indianapolis as the weekend weather anchor and entertainment reporter. Later on, she was promoted to co-anchor of the 10 PM Newscasts.
Asides from this, she previously worked in Dallas and Washington, DC. However, Florida is where she spent most of her TV career. In the course of her career, she has covered some big stories such as Florida sports.
Back in the year 2007, she traveled to Arizona in order to cover the Florida Gators when they won the BCS Championship, and when the Tampa Bay Rays were in the World Series, Ginger was live at Tropicana Filed for each home game. Asides from this, she anchored live coverage of Super Bowl XLIII at Raymond James Stadium.
Gadsden happens to be a self-proclaimed foodie who loves trying new cuisines and has a passion for travel. She has been privileged to visit Spain, Italy, Africa, and Greece with Thailand, Australia, and Antarctica being on her someday list.
Ginger’s favorite restaurants are too many that she couldn’t name them. On the other hand, her favorite food is any new cuisine while her favorite movie is Wizard of Oz. As for his education, she attended the University of South Carolina where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Theatre.
