Valicenti serves at NBC 10 as the co-anchor of Southern New England’s top-rated, and the Nation’s 4th highest-rated newscast, NBC 10 News at 6. He hosts NBC10 News At Noon, the long-running Sunday political show “10 News Conference,” and moderates all of Channel 10’s political debates in addition to hosting the station’s flagship broadcast. Gene hosts “The News with Gene Valicenti,” the region’s top-rated radio news and information show, weekday mornings on News/Talk 99.7FM and 630AM WPRO, another legacy station. He has been a calming presence on many of the biggest stories, including the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, several papal visits, and multiple governorship and presidential elections. Gene is a four-time Emmy winner, including two for anchoring.
