They were honored with the Ohio Associated Press Award while working at FMJ, an NBC station in Youngstown, Ohio for two consecutive years of Outstanding Weather Operation. In addition, he worked at WTAP, the NBC station in Parkersburg, West Virginia forecasting weather for one year.

He likes being involved in charitable organizations including Cincinnati Museum Center Duke Energy Children’s Museum, the American Heart Association, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
