He currently reports and anchors sportscasts at 5 On Your Side. Cusumano achieved his dream job as the sports director for 5 On Your Side in 2016. His first story was on Duke’s famed Coach K. “Everything has been downhill since,” he says, referring to his initial piece.

Cusumano has earned 17 Emmy Awards throughout his time at KSDK-TV, including Best Sports Anchor for his sports reporting and storytelling. Also, he is a Heisman Trophy and St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame voter and holds an Edward R. Murrow Award. In addition, he was honored by the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame with the Jack Buck Award in the month of April 2017.
