Connolly serves at WFSB as an Evening News Anchor. He anchors the 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm newscasts on Eyewitness News from Monday through Friday. She has worked in Connecticut for over one and a half decades. Before joining WFSB, she served at Time Warner Cable News (YNN) in Albany, New York as a news reporter and anchor for 4 years and 9 months. Before that, she worked for WCTI TV 12 and FOX 8/14 in New Bern, North Carolina as a News Reporter/Anchor for 1 year and 9 months. Connolly has been part of WFSB’s investigative unit, where she assisted in spearheading the series, “Fugitive Files.” The series highlighted local cold cases. The stories led to numerous arrests and thus bringing justice to a number of families. Connolly’s favorite story she has ever covered in her career is the story of a local man who was in desperate need of a liver, in the year 2017. A kind viewer watched the story and volunteered to donate her organ to save the life of the man. Connolly has also assisted in raising funds for multiple Connecticut charities and organizations.
