Lemon is a proud alumnus of Baker High School, Louisiana State University, and Brooklyn College. He graduated from Brooklyn College in the year 1996 with a degree in broadcast journalism. During his stint at Brooklyn, he worked as an adjunct professor, where he taught and participated in a curriculum designed around new media. While studying at Brooklyn College, he worked as an intern at WNYW-TV in New York City. Lemon works at CNN. Before joining CNN, he worked for NBC5 News in Chicago, where he co-anchored the 5 p.m. newscasts. He began working for NBC5 News in as an Anchor/Reporter in August 2003.
