Denise Valdez is an American four-time Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor working for KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada serving as an evening news anchor during 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts. She joined the station in January 2006 after working at KNBC – TV in Los Angeles, California.

Valdez always did her best, in June 2018 and November 2016, she led a team of journalists to moderate the Nevada Democratic Gubernatorial debate with the United States Senate debate. She again covered the worst mass shooting in American history of October 2017 where 58 people lost their lives. During one of Nevada’s most destructive firestorms in July 2013, she covered extensively the devastating fire that charred 28 thousand acres. In December 2008 when snow fell on the Las Vegas strip, Valdez was on the desk.
