Morgan serves at CBS2/KCAL9 as a co-anchor of CBS2’s weekday from 4:30 am to 7:00 a.m. and 11 a.m. newscasts, alongside Suzanne Marques. Since joining CBS, he has reported for all CBS News broadcasts and platforms. In August 2017, Morgan field anchored the Network’s coverage of Hurricane Harvey live from Houston for THE CBS EVENING NEWS.
Shortly thereafter, Morgan reported on the waste caused by Hurricanes Irma. And last September, Morgan covered Hurricane Florence. In recent months, he has covered stories that differ from wildfires in California, the homecoming of kidnapped Wisconsin teenager Jayme Close, the virtual truth platform being developed by Facebook, and critical weather events across the country.
