Wade was formerly a weekday anchor at WFXT-TV in Boston, where he worked at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. He joined WFXT-TV in 1998 and served as a general assignment reporter for four years before being promoted to anchor. Wade worked as a reporter for WXXA-TV (Fox) in Albany, NY, before joining WFXT in 1998. He started his broadcasting career in 1995 as a reporter for WRNN-TV in Rye Brook, New York. David earned his BA in broadcast journalism from Emerson College in 1995. In 1991, he graduated from Tewksbury High School.
