Upon graduation from Poughkeepsie High School in the year 1983, Price attended Cornell University. He graduated from the university in the year 1987 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Labor and Industrial Relations. He enrolled at Columbia University in 1991 and graduated after 2 years with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Price serves at NBC 4 – WNBC as a weather anchor for the 11 AM and 4 PM newscasts. Also, he fills in as a weather anchor for NBC 4’s TODAY. He began as a weather anchor for the morning newscast on NBC’s TODAY. Later that month, he started anchoring the weathercasts on NBC’s “News 4 New York at Noon.” Before Price joined NBC 4, he worked for CBS News where he weathers anchored on “The Early Show.” At the same time, he co-anchored WNYW – FOX 5’s “Good Day New York.”

At CBS News, he also served as a primary fill-in co-host and the daily forecaster for Harry Smith. There he reported on significant weather events such as Hurricane Katrina. During the holiday season, he traveled to Kuwait, Iraq, Djibouti, and Afghanistan, as well as to military installations across the world for over 10 years, to perform comedy for the United States troops. 

Price has worked for WBBM-TV, a CBS affiliate in Chicago, Illinois as a feature reporter and morning weather anchor, for 2 years. He has also hosted the morning show, “Good Day Philadelphia,” at WTXF-TV, a FOX affiliate in Pennsylvania, for a year.

Price is a strong supporter and volunteer of children’s charities throughout the Tri-State area. Among his volunteering, he serves at the Inner-City Foundation of Fairfield County and works on the advisory board of the Africa Foundation. Besides being a journalist, Price is also a licensed pilot and a certified scuba diver.
