He also co-hosts the half-hour show Vista L.A., and also ABC7’s Cool Kids feature, which focuses on young people doing good deeds in the community. He got his first radio job in Fresno shortly after graduating from high school. In San Diego, Romero worked weeknights on B-100 FM. Danny then became a weekend weathercaster for Channel 8. Two years later, he was hired to be the prime-time weathercaster for KCOP in Los Angeles. After seven years and three Emmy awards, he was hired to do weather at KNBC.
