Daisha Jones is an American Traffic Anchor/Multimedia Journalist currently working for KSHB-TV since joining the station in January 2020. She currently holds the position of traffic anchor at the station. Prior to joining the station, she was working in New Bern, North Carolina, working as a Weekend Morning Anchor, as well as a Morning Reporter.
Jones is a proud alumnus of the University of Nevada in Reno, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies, as well as Broadcast Journalism. During her stint at the university, she was part of the university’s Women’s Soccer Team. Also, she was a member of the Honors Society and the Vice President of Lambda Pi Eta.
Jones began her career in television as a producer at Fox 11 in Reno and KRNV-KRXI News 4. She is a 2-time Emmy nominated reporter.
