Cubby Bryant is an American Radio presenter who is currently working at 106.7 Lite FM in New York City. He serves as the weekday morning presenter at the radio station and is the co-host of The Pop Culture Show podcast.

Cubby Bryant  Career

He started his radio career in his native home where he worked at WGH-FM (97 Star) in 1988. While he worked at WGH-FM, he inherited his current radio name Cubby which was given to him by WGH DJs Tony Macrini and Jeff Moreau for being so young as he was 16 years old by then.

Later on, he joined KRBE in Houston, Texas in September 1990, as a night host and a music director. He joined WHTZ in New York City as an Afternoon Drive Host and Music Director in April 1996. Furthermore, he also traveled around the world in 2000 with the group Backstreet Boys to promote the release of Black & Blue, the boys traveled around the world in 100 hours to Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Japan, Sweden, and the United States.

In addition, he announced that he would be leaving WHTZ in 2006 after a ten-year run with the station to co-host Wake Up With Whoopi. Back in November 2007, Wake Up With Whoopi was canceled by WKTU. Furthermore, he left Wake Up With Whoopi in January 2008 to work at WKTU as a solo morning host.

Together with Cindy Vero, they co-hosted KTU’s Cubby and Cindy morning show in 2001 and he later joined Carolina Bermudez in 2014. In addition, he worked at WLTW alongside Christine Nagy as morning co-host from May 28, 2019.

He served as the co-host and sidekick to Whoopi Goldberg on the nationally syndicated morning show Wake Up With Whoopi from 2006-2008. Furthermore, he also worked at crosstown sister station WHTZ where he served as a Music Director and Afternoon Drive Disc Jockey.
