Guanajuato, Mexico was where she was born, and later on, she was brought up in San Diego, California before she relocated to Dallas, Texas.
She attended The University of Texas in Arlington where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Communication in Broadcasting with a minor in Marketing. While she was in the University, she participated in many roles such as UTA News en Español, UTA News, and as a bilingual reporter for the University’s newscasts.
In addition, she was also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). Furthermore, she interned at Dallas-Fort Worth news stations, Univision, and Telemundo where she gained great experience. she produced news stories that went on air while on her internship.
In addition, she also worked behind the scenes in an all-student-produced news segment, Proyecto U, for Univision Dallas. She expresses that her favorite part of the job is getting to know people in their community and being able to be their voice.
During her leisure time, she enjoys struggling to get to the gym, trying out new restaurants, learning dance choreography, singing, and playing the piano. In addition, her favorite artists are; Marc Anthony, Banda MS, Bruno Mars, Shakira, and Selena.
