Cody Holyoke is an American Award-winning News Anchor/storyteller currently working for KMBC-TV since joining the station in August 2017. You can catch him on KMBC’s “First News” every morning, from Monday to Friday. He joined KMBC 9 News because he saw an opportunity to work with some of the top journalists and photojournalists in the industry.
Previously, he was in Albany, New York City, working for a CBS-affiliated TV station, WRGB-TV. There he covered unusual features and human-interest stories and severe environmental calamities and political corruption.
Holyoke is a proud alumnus of Ithaca College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Television and Radio. During his stint at the college, he was actively involved in the journalism and production aspects of Ithaca’s radio stations and Ithaca College Television.
Holyoke has also reported, as well as anchored at an NBC-affiliated TV station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, WTMJ-TV. He was in the spotlight for a number of important news items during his stay there.
