In 2003, she joined Ohio University, E.W. Scripps School of Journalism where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism in 2007. She was also tagged anchor of the year in 2022. Killimayer left WHNT in the year 2012 to pursue another career outside journalism, but she returned in April 2014. Before joining WHNT, Killimayer worked at KVBC-TV as a sports anchor and reporter from August 2008 to 2010. Prior to her tenure at KVBC-TV, she worked at KTKA where she served as a sports anchor and reporter from July 2007 till her departure in May 2008. In addition to that, she was also the sports anchor of the 6 and 10 pm and would also co-host “The Locker Room Show.”
From September 2003 to March 2007, she worked at WOUB where she served as a sports anchor and reporter. During her tenure at WOUB, she also served as the host and producer for “Bobcat Blitz” and “Student Research and Creative Activity Fair.” She had previously spent about 2 months as an intern at FOX Sports Net Pittsburgh. Killimayer has spent about a month working at ESPNU as a Sideline Reporter (in November 2005).
