Edwards had previously spent about 11 months working at WSB-TV where she served as a weather producer from December 2014 to October 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to working at WSB-TV, she worked at 13WMAZ where she served as a fill-in on-air meteorologist from July 2015 till her departure in September 2015. From June 2012 to June 2015, she worked at The Weather Channel where she served as a digital content meteorologist.
