Chris Tomer is an American-certified meteorologist working for Colorado’s Own Channel 2 and FOX31 Denver serving as a meteorologist. He has been working for the station since 2005 and previously worked at Sinclair Broadcast Group in Baltimore, Maryland.

Tomer won an Emmy for his Tomer’s Trails stories in 2015. Tomer is a New York Times best-selling author. He co-wrote Sleeping on the Summits: Colorado Fourteener High Bivys in 2011.
