From 2000-2002, he worked in Portland, Oregon at the Fox affiliate, and later on, he relocated to San Francisco and worked at KRON4 where he served as the morning anchor at the station. In addition, while he worked at KRON4, that was when he fell in love with journalism as he had the opportunity to engage viewers and in-studio guests on everything from tension in the Middle East to easing tension through hosting yoga instructors live in the studio.
