Preheim serves at 11Alive as an evening anchor. For the past two decades, Cheryl has been a member of the NBC family. After anchoring the morning news at TEGNA’s sister station in Denver, KUSA, she joined the WXIA family. Cheryl has won the prestigious National Edward R. Murrow award three times, once for individual work and once for team coverage.
She has won 14 Emmy Awards, including back-to-back Emmy Awards for Best Anchor in the Southeast in 2017 and 2018.
